Chemical Peels

What are Chemical Peels?
Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments that involve applying a specially formulated acidic solution to the skin to intentionally cause exfoliation and controlled injury. This prompts your skin to regenerate, revealing fresher, smoother, and more youthful skin underneath.
Benefits of Chemical Peels
- Improves Skin Texture and Tone - Peels exfoliate dead skin cells, which helps smooth rough patches and uneven texture. Promotes a more even, glowing complexion
- Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles - Especially around the eyes and mouth. Stimulates collagen production, which helps plump the skin and reduce signs of aging
- Treats Acne and Prevents Breakouts - Salicylic acid peels in particular help unclog pores, reduce oil production, and treat inflammation. Can fade post-acne marks (PIH)
- Fades Hyperpigmentation and Sun Damage - Helps lighten dark spots, age spots, and melasma
- Minimizes Appearance of Scars - Medium to deep peels can help reduce the look of acne scars and other superficial scarring
- Brightens Dull Skin - A quick refresh for tired, lifeless skin. Light peels give an instant glow
- Improves Product Absorption - After a peel, your skin is more receptive to serums and active ingredients, making your skincare products work more effectively
- Boosts Confidence - Healthier-looking skin can improve self-esteem and encourage makeup-free days

FAQs
What can I expect after a chemical peel treatment?
- After your BioRePeel treatment, you may notice a slight warmth or tightness, but there’s little to no visible peeling. Most clients experience an instant glow and smoother skin within the first few days. Minor dryness or light flaking may occur, but it's typically minimal. Over the next 3–7 days, skin will appear brighter, clearer, and more even in tone and texture. For best results, a series of treatments is recommended, and proper aftercare—like hydration and SPF—is essential.
- After other chemical peels, your skin may feel tight, warm, or slightly red on the first day. Peeling typically begins on day 2 or 3 and can last up to 6–7 days. During this time, you'll notice visible skin shedding, especially around the mouth and cheeks. It's important not to pick or peel the skin manually.
By day 7, most of the peeling subsides, revealing smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin. You'll continue to see improvements over the following weeks as your skin regenerates and collagen production increases.
When will I see skin improvements from chemical peel?
- You’ll begin to see visible skin improvements within 24 to 72 hours after your BioRePeel treatment. Most clients notice an immediate boost in radiance and smoothness, with continued improvement in tone, texture, and clarity over the following days. For concerns like acne, pigmentation, or fine lines, a series of 4–6 treatments, spaced 7–10 days apart, delivers the best long-term results.
- With other chemical peels, you’ll begin to see noticeable skin improvements about 7 to 10 days after treatment, once the peeling process is complete. Skin will appear brighter, smoother, and more even in tone. Deeper results—such as improvements in acne scars, pigmentation, and fine lines—continue to develop over the next 2 to 4 weeks as collagen production increases.
How many treatments are recommended ?
- For optimal results, we recommend a series of 4 to 6 BioRePeel treatments, spaced 7 to 10 days apart. This allows for gradual improvement in skin texture, tone, acne, and overall radiance. The exact number of treatments may vary depending on your individual skin goals and concerns. After completing a full series, maintenance treatments every 4 to 6 weeks can help keep your skin looking fresh and healthy year-round.
- While many clients see noticeable results after just one chemical peel, a series of 2 to 3 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, is recommended for more significant concerns like acne scars, hyperpigmentation, melasma, or deeper lines. For ongoing skin maintenance and long-term results, a peel every 3 to 6 months can help keep your skin bright, clear, and youthful.
What areas can be treated?
BioRePeel and other peels can be safely used on multiple areas of the body—not just the face. Commonly treated areas are face, neck, décolletage(chest), back, shoulders, hands and buttocks.
It’s an ideal treatment for addressing concerns like acne, pigmentation, rough texture, and signs of aging in any of these areas. The peel is suitable for all skin types and can be performed year-round, even during summer months.
What is post-care after a chemical peel?
BioRePeel requires minimal downtime, but proper post-care is still important to protect and maximize your results for all chemical peels. Here’s what to do:
Do’s:
- Hydrate the skin with a gentle, nourishing moisturizer
- Apply SPF 30+ daily, even indoors
- Use a gentle cleanser—no scrubs or exfoliants
- Let any light flaking or dryness shed naturally
Avoid:
- Sun exposure, tanning, or heat (saunas, hot showers) for 48 hours
- Active ingredients like retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and vitamin C for 5–7 days (or as directed)
- Heavy workouts or sweating for 24–48 hours
- Picking or rubbing the skin if peeling occurs
Most people can resume normal skincare after about a week. Your skin will look brighter, smoother, and healthier with consistent aftercare and follow-up treatments.
